KABUL, Afghanistan, July 23 (UPI) --
Three U.S. members of the International Security Assistance Force died Tuesday in an improvised explosive device attack in Afghanistan, officials said.
The blast occurred in the Said Abad district of Wardak province, NBC News reported.
The ISAF released a statement announcing the deaths, saying it left identification of the dead up to the respective national authorities.
A local Afghan official told NBC News the soldiers were American.
