Bombing at mosque in Iraq kills 16, injures 36

AL-WAJIHIYA, Iraq, July 19 (UPI) -- A bomb exploded during service at a Sunni mosque in Iraq Friday, killing at least 16 people and injuring 36, officials said.

The bomb went off during a sermon at a mosque in al-Wajihiya in Diyala province, which has mostly Sunni residents, CNN reported.

No other details on the blast were reported.
