BEIJING, July 8 (UPI) -- A court in Beijing Monday filed rape charges against five people, including the son of famed singer Li Shuangjiang, officials said.

The men are suspected of gang-raping a woman in February, China's official Xinhua News Agency reported.

Police have only identified one of the suspects, Li's 1-year-old son.

No other details of the case were reported.

Li is currently the dean of the music department at the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts.

His son has created controversy in the past: Two years ago, he and another teen were accused of attacking a couple who had blocked their driveway. He was jailed for one year after the incident.
