TEHRAN, June 28 (UPI) -- Iran may add three more nuclear power generating units to the Bushehr nuclear power plant, Iran Atomic Energy Organization head Fereydoun Abbasi Davani said.

Davani said the plant currently has one power generating unit that creates 1,000 megawatts of nuclear power, IRAR-Tass reported Friday.

"We plan to build two more units," he said, adding that after those two are built, it is possible a third new one might be added.
