June 10, 2013 at 10:54 AM

WAIROA, New Zealand, June 10 (UPI) -- A 4.5-magnitude earthquake shook the town of Wairoa, New Zealand, Monday, officials said. No injuries were reported.

The quake was centered about 9 miles south of Wairoa and was about 11.8 miles deep, The Dominon Post, Wellington, New Zealand, reported.

Jasleen Singh, the manager of Mahia Avenue Dairy, said the quake knocked products from shelves in his store.

"It shook the shelves and the cupboard while I was putting smokes in," he said. "None of the products were damaged but they did fall off the shelves."
