11 young people kidnapped at Mexico City bar

MEXICO CITY, May 31 (UPI) -- Authorities said Thursday they had yet to find 11 young people who disappeared from a Mexico City bar last weekend.

The apparent mass kidnapping occurred about 10 a.m. Sunday at a bar called Heaven, El Universal reported.

La Prensa reported Dianita Jimenez said in a post on Facebook that the youths were abducted by a group of heavily armed individuals posing as police officers who forced them into several vehicles.

La Prensa said the federal district attorney general's office was investigating the abductions
