BUENOS AIRES, May 30 (UPI) -- A report by an Argentine prosecutor investigating the 1994 bombing of an Israeli community center accuses Iran of infiltrating South American countries.

The Iranian regime has infiltrated a number of South American countries, Alberto Nisman, the general prosecutor investigating the bombing of the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association, said.

Nisman made the charge in a 500-page report, the Buenos Aires Herald reported Thursday.

A bomb attack at the AIMA on July 18, 1994, in Buenos Aires killed 85 people and injured hundreds of others.

"Based on countless reports, evidence, testimonies, court and investigative records related to other countries of the region, North America and Europe, including rulings of foreign courts against the Iranian regime, he [Nisman] proved the identical decision-making mechanism planning and execution of terrorist attacks verified in different countries, which were judicially attributed to Iranian intelligence agents," the newspaper said, quoting a statement on the report sent to the media.

Nisman said he was able to prove Iran's role in the 1994 bombing as well as that of Mohsen Rabbani, a former Iranian cultural attache, who allegedly planned the attack and was responsible for coordinating the entry of Iranians into South America, the newspaper said.
