Two London war memorials defaced with graffiti

LONDON, May 27 (UPI) -- Graffiti, in red paint, on two of London's most celebrated war memorials was discovered Monday, police said.

The word "Islam" was believed to have painted on the RAF Bomber Command War Memorial, dedicated in 2012, and the Animals in War Memorial, unveiled in 2004, in central London, the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph reported Monday.
