North Koreans release seized Chinese fishing vessel

PYONGYANG, North Korea, May 21 (UPI) -- A Chinese fishing vessel and crew seized by North Korea May 10 were released early Tuesday, a Chinese consular official said.

The official told China's Xinhua News Agency that the owner of the fishing vessel reported they were on their way back to Dalian city in China's northeastern Liaoning province.

Boat owner Yu Xuejun said they planned to continue fishing while heading home.
