Three shot in jewelry store holdup, Swedish police seek three suspects

ANGELHOLM, Sweden, May 18 (UPI) -- Three people were shot during a jewelry store robbery in the southern Swedish city of Angelholm, police said.

Three men wearing dark motorcycle helmets entered a jewelry store on a busy street Saturday and opened fire. Three people were injured but police said none of the wounds were life-threatening.

The bandits fled the scene on a yellow or orange moped, which they drove to a waiting black Audi, news agency TT said.

Police said they believe the robbers fled to the nearby town of Hoganas, but cautioned it was only one of several leads they were following, TheLocal.se said.

It was unclear what the robbers took from the jewelry store.
