Fire at electronics warehouse creating poisonous smoke in Denmark

AARHUS, Denmark, May 14 (UPI) -- Police in Aarhus, Denmark, warned residents to stay indoors Tuesday after a fire at a second-hand electronics warehouse sent poisonous smoke into the air.

The fire sent toxic smoke over a large area including Lystrup, Lisbjerg and Hjortshoj, The Copenhagen Post reported.

"It is poisonous smoke from burning parts of electronics and plastic from various computer equipment," Jan Jansen, from the East-Jutland police, told Ekstra Bladet tabloid.
