Afghan militants attack airport in Jalalabad

JALALABAD, Afghanistan, April 13 (UPI) -- A helicopter was damaged but no injuries were reported Saturday when militants fired three rockets on an airport in eastern Afghanistan, officials said.

The attack happened at the Jalalabad airport in eastern Nangarhar province, Khaama Press reported.

The airport is controlled by coalition security forces.

No other details of the attack were reported and no one had claimed responsibility for the attack, Khaama Press said.
