Pakistan plant attack death toll up to 7

PESHAWAR, Pakistan, April 2 (UPI) -- The bodies of five people who were missing after a power station in Peshawar was attacked were found in nearby fields Tuesday, officials in Pakistan said.

The discovery of the bodies raises the death toll from the militants' attack on the Budha Beer Shaikh Muhamamdi power station to seven, Geo News reported.

A police officer and a company employee were killed when the plant came under attack Tuesday, a spokesman for the Peshawar Electricity Supply Co. said.

Ten people were kidnapped, and five remained missing, the official said.

The spokesman said the dead included four members of the utility's staff and three policemen.
