RAMALLAH, West Bank, April 1 (UPI) -- More than 20 Palestinian children were arrested and more were injured during the second week of March in the West Bank, a government agency reported.

The Palestinian Territories' Ministry of Information released a report Monday itemizing the arrests of 24 Palestinian children and teens and injuries to numbers "in the tens" in incidents involving Israeli soldiers and settlers "in the second quarter of March 2013," it said.

The report lists incidents involving raids on the children's homes, assaults as the children walked to school and a 10-year-old boy who "sustained severe injuries after he was brutally beaten up by Israeli soldiers," the Palestinian news agency WAFA said.
