Abbas flew to Amman Sunday for a meeting with Abdullah at the Royal Palace, Palestinian News Agency Wafa reported. The signed agreement outlined coordination for the protection of all Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, officials said.

Hundreds of Israelis visited Jerusalem's al-Aqsa Mosque Sunday, Palestinian News Agency Ma'an reported.
Some visitors allegedly desecrated the holy site by drinking wine and urinating on a nearby tree.
Abbas' spokesman condemned the visit by Israelis, saying it provoked tensions and threatened any chance of peace.
