Man held in China deaths of 2 5th-graders

YULIN, China, March 29 (UPI) -- Two fifth-grade boys died after severe beatings by an elementary school employee in China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, officials said Friday.

The male employee allegedly beat the children Wednesday in a dormitory of a private school in Yulin, Xinhua reported.

The boys died in a local hospital, an official said.

There were no further details about the children or the employee, who was held by police.
