JAZAN, Saudi Arabia, March 28 (UPI) --
A Yemeni man was beheaded in Saudi Arabia after being convicted of killing a Pakistani man, officials said.
The execution took place Wednesday in the southern city of Jazan, Arab News reported.
"The Yemeni citizen Mohammed Rashad Khairi Hussein killed a Pakistani, Pashteh Sayed Khan, after he sodomized him," said the statement quoted by the Saudi Press Agency.
The Yemeni man was also convicted of carrying out a series of attacks and robberies.
