VOSTOCHNAYA, Russia, March 23 (UPI) --
A small biplane crashed in southern Russia on Saturday, killing one person and injuring another, the Civil Defense and Emergency Situations Ministry said.
The crash happened outside the village of Vostochnaya in Russia's Krasnodar territory, RIA Novosti reported.
The ministry said the plane, an Antonov An-2 that was converted for agricultural use, lost power and crashed to the ground. One person was killed and another was injured in the incident.
