MEDELLIN, Colombia, March 13 (UPI) -- Police said eight people in Colombia were arrested Tuesday in the killing and dismembering of two 11-year-old children in February.
The arrests were made in separate raids, Colombia Reports said.
The eight suspects range in age from 12 to 32 and face charges of aggravated murder, torture, aggravated kidnapping and conspiracy to commit a crime, police said.
Colombia Reports said the two children were kidnapped in Medellin Feb. 16 for crossing an invisible border in the city's Comuna 13 slum area.
Their mutilated bodies were found the next day.
