More police and a police dog team were then called in and the dogs found a woman's body a short distance away, CBC reported.

Both victims, neither yet identified, had been slain, Pound said.

"Until the identity has been determined, investigators will not know the connection, if any, today's victims have to each other or to the other two victims found recently in this area," Pound said.

In January, the body of Jaskaran Singh Sandhu, 26, was found in the same area. Police said she had been targeted for attack. In February, the badly burned body of Amritapal Saran, 29, of Delta was found. Police said they had known of Saran, but he was not known to be affiliated with any gangs.
