GOMA, Democratic Republic of Congo, March 5 (UPI) -- Officials said at least 30 people are feared dead after a plane crashed in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The aircraft belonged to African Aviation Airline and crashed in Goma Monday, the PanAfrican News Agency reported.
Sources said there were only three survivors after the plane fell on a house, PANA said.
The crash was likely caused by heavy rain in the area as the pilot attempted to land, officials said.
The three survivors have been taken to a hospital and search parties are looking for the bodies of the victims, PANA reported.
