KABUL, Afghanistan, March 1 (UPI) --
Explosions in Afghanistan's eastern Kunar province killed at least seven Afghan border protection officers and three civilians, officials and witnesses said.
Local officials said the seven Afghan police officers were killed in the first explosion Thursday evening and the second killed the civilians as they were trying to remove the bodies, Khaama Press reported.
No group immediately claimed responsibility, Khaama Press said.
