Medvedev meets with Castro in Cuba

HAVANA, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Former Cuban President Fidel Castro met with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Havana Friday, Cuban media reported.

The Cuban state news agency Prensa Latina said the two met in a "fraternal and friendly atmosphere," and signed "important agreements between the two countries."

A government news release said Medvedev and Castro talked about the cost of food, climate change and other environmental topics.
