The process of taking the coffins to the graveyard in Hazara Town was delayed by female protesters who wanted to be buried with their loved ones, Pakistan's Geo TV News reported.
Other protesters fired guns into the air.
Police returned fire, causing panic among the mourners but no injuries were reported.
The victims were killed Saturday when a bomb blast ripped through a busy Shiite market district injuring more than 100 people.
The bombing prompted strikes and protests across Pakistan with relatives of the victims refusing to bury the dead until the government took action to stop the violence.
A separatist rebellion as well as sectarian violence has plagued Balochistan province that borders Iran and Afghanistan.
