Military plane crashes in Sanaa; 12 dead

SANAA, Yemen, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- A Yemeni military plane crashed in a Sanaa neighborhood Tuesday, killing at least 12 people and wounding 11 others, medical and security officials said.

Officials said the plane was on a training exercise when it crashed into two houses in the al-Qadissiya district of the capital, Yemen Online reported.

Among the dead were three women and two children, officials said.

A cause for the crash was not reported.
