8 killed in Pakistan

QUETTA, Pakistan, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Officials said at least eight people were killed in Pakistan's Balochistan province Wednesday when a car collided with a truck.

Xinhua said the accident occurred in the morning in the capital city of Quetta.

Three of the victims died at the scene, Dunya TV reported. Five others, including two children, died at the hospital.

Police said the accident was a result of speeding.
