4 pilgrims killed in India bus accident

CHITRAKOOT, India, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Police said four Hindu pilgrims were killed and more than a dozen were injured Tuesday when their bus overturned in India.

Indo-Asian News Service said the accident took place in Chitrakoot in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Police said the driver lost control of the bus and the injured are being treated at hospitals.

The four pilgrims, from the state of Odisha, were on their way to visit Chitrakoot after taking a holy bath as part of their Kumbh Mela pilgrimage, Indo-Asian News Service reported.
