Plane lands with broken landing gear

MUSCAT, Pakistan, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- A Pakistan International Airlines flight with 108 people aboard landed safetly in Muscat, Pakistan, Monday after its landing gear broke, officials said.

The Boeing 737, which landed tilting on its left side, had arrived from Sialkot at the Muscat International Airport when a "technical fault in the landing gear" occurred, the airline said.

"All the 108 passengers and crew are safe," Bashiruddin Khan, PIA country manager in Muscat, told Gulf News.
