Two shootings kill 3 near Mosul in Iraq

MOSUL, Iraq, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Gunmen in two incidents in Iraq's Nineveh province Sunday killed three people, including two police officers, security officials said.

In one incident, security officials said gunmen fired on a bus carrying workers to an oil refinery south of Mosul, killing one worker and wounding three others, IraqiNews.com reported.

In the second shooting incident, a security official said unidentified gunmen fired at two Iraqi police officers, killing them.
