TORONTO, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- The last survivor of a group of Canadian men who sexually abused dozens of boys over two decades faces new charges, officials say.

Gordon Stuckless, 63, who was known as the "Monster of Maple Leaf Gardens," was rearrested by Toronto police for allegedly molesting two boys more than three decades ago, the QMI Agency reported Thursday.

The latest alleged victims say Stuckless abused them when they were 11 and 13 years old in the late 1970s.

Stuckless, who was sentenced to five years in prison in 1997 for 572 sex acts against two dozen boys in a period spanning 20 years, was paroled in 2001.

He is now charged with six counts of indecent assault on a male, assault and possession of a weapon or imitation of one.

Stuckless was convicted of procuring boys for sex with George Hannah, his supervisor at Maple Leaf Gardens, and John Paul Roby, an usher.

Roby died in prison in 2001 after being convicted of 60 sexual offenses involving 42 children.

Hannah, who died in 1984, was never charged but was implicated in Stuckless' crimes, authorities said.
