Dad who drowned sons gets death penalty

TARASCON, France, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- No injuries were reported but rail service delays were expected after a passenger train in France caught fire Saturday, transportation officials said.
The intercity railway between Marseille and Bordeaux was backed up by more than 2 hours after a train carrying 220 people began smoking heavily. Firefighters from the town of Tarascon responded and extinguished the blaze.
Passengers from the front three cars were moved to rear cars and a relief train was called in to tow the train to the next stop, Nimes, Radio France Internationale reported.
Other trains on the route were delayed while the scene was cleared.
