KITCHENER, Ontario, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- A woman's torso discovered in a garbage bin in Kitchener, Ontario, was identified by police Tuesday as that of 24-year-old city resident Kelsey Louise Felker.

While Waterloo Regional Police were able to identify the victim as Felker, they were unable to say how she died, noting "the post-mortem examination into the cause of death is continuing."

Felker's torso, clad in a black T-shirt with "Forget princess, I want to be a vampire" printed on it, was found in a garbage bin outside an apartment building Saturday morning.

Police said information they received after releasing a picture of a similar T-shirt "was an important factor leading to the identity of deceased."
