China: At least 7 dead in bus-train crash

BEIJING, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- A freight train and a passenger bus collided Monday in northeast China's Heilongjiang province, leaving at least seven passengers dead, authorities said.

The official Xinhua News Agency said the collision occurred in the city of Heihe. Six bus passengers were pronounced dead at the scene and a seventh died while being taken to a hospital.

The number of injured in the crash was not given but the report said they were all taken to hospitals.

The cause of the collision was being investigated.
