CARDIFF, Wales, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- A British Airways flight from Houston to London made an emergency landing in Wales Monday, airline officials said.

The airline said the pilot reported a "potential minor technical problem" though airport officials in Cardiff, Wales, said the plane landed "under a full emergency."

There were 138 people on board. The plane, a Boeing 747, landed safely and was inspected by engineers before continuing to Heathrow Airport in London without further incident, the BBC said.
