Boy shot, killed by stray bullet

BRAMPTON, Ontario, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A 9-year-old Canadian boy was shot and killed by a stray bullet that passed through a townhouse in Brampton, Ontario, police said Thursday.

The shooting happened about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported.

Police said they found Kesean Williams at the scene. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later died, police said.

Three young men were seen handcuffed at the scene, however, there has been no immediate word on charges, the news report said.
