ACEH, Indonesia, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Three officers in Aceh, Indonesia, who allegedly drugged and raped a 19-year-old girl, will likely be charged for drug use and indecent behavior, police said.
The victim, whose name was not reported, had allegedly arranged to meet one of the officers outside his rented room Thursday, the Jakarta Globe reported Tuesday.
She said when she arrived, the man and two other officers forced her into his room, forced her to take methamphetamine, and one man raped her while the others watched.
The officers insisted the sex was consensual and that they paid the girl after the incident.

Simeulue district police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Parluatan Siregar told the Jakarta Globe the men would not be charged with rape because medical examiners did not find any physical indicators of rape.
"What [was] said to be rape should be violence and threat, but there were none," Parluatan said.
"The suspects admitted that they agreed to pay $20 per intercourse. So, we will process them with national law. The first is on [the] drug consumption case, and secondly on indecent behavior and violating code of conduct," he added.
Islamic clerics have demanded the three men be punished according to Sharia [Islamic] law.
"There has been an impression among the public that police officers and soldiers who violate Islamic Sharia can not be charged with Sharia law. It is a wrong perception because who ever lives and stays in Aceh is equal before the law," said Teungku Faisal Ali, the deputy head of the Aceh Consultative Assembly of Ulema.
Faisal Ali suggested the men be publicly caned.
