VATICAN CITY, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have not made plans to visit the Vatican or meet with Pope Benedict XVI during their upcoming trip to Rome, officials said.

The queen and prince are scheduled to travel to Rome in March, ANSA reported Friday.

Church officials said Friday the queen has not yet scheduled a visit with the pope.
