Men confront presidential look alike

CAIRO, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Officials said protesters at the presidential palace in Egypt attempted to beat a man who they believed was President Mohamed Morsi.

Al-Masry al-Youm reported protesters crowded around Gamal Sayed, 56, who reportedly looks very similar to Morsi.

Some demonstratrors attempted to pull him into a tent and beat him, al-Masry al-Youm said, but others intervened and stopped them. The protesters agreed to stop and then asked Sayed to take pictures with them, officials said, and Sayed agreed.

Sayed said he came to the palace to ask for a kiosk, a bicycle cart or a pension, as he is handicapped and has no source of income.
