Man arrested, charged with killing 2 women

MOSCOW, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- A Russian man was arrested in the Urals Perm region for allegedly killing two women and wrapping their bodies in carpet, investigators said Saturday.

The slaying allegedly happened after the man and the two women got into a fight while drinking, RIA Novosti.

Investigators said the suspect killed one of the women with a wrench and then strangled the other, before wrapping the bodies up in carpets and putting them in his car.

Police found the bodies on a roadside Friday.

If convicted, the man -- who has already served a prison term -- faces a life sentence, the report said.
