Organ trafficking suspect to be tried

KIEV, Ukraine, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- A man searching for kidney donors, allegedly part of an organ trafficking ring in Ukraine, will be charged in court, prosecutors in Kiev said.

The unnamed man allegedly sought healthy young people in financial difficulty, and offered $10,000 for a kidney. He found at least six willing people and received a fee of $2,000 for each one, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office said Thursday in a statement.
