UAE breaks up suspected terror cell

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Authorities in the United Arab Emirates said they have detained a suspected terror cell plotting attacks in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The Emirates News Agency said Thursday the group, the size of which authorities have not disclosed, had imported materials to carry out the attack.

Anti-terror officials offered no specifics about the nature of the alleged plot.
