FENGNING, China, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- A Chinese man, distraught after his daughter's killing, drove his car into a crowd of middle school students, injuring 13 people, police said.

Yin Tiejun, 48, ran down the students -- who had nothing to do with his daughter's death -- fracturing one child's skull while another had both feet broken. The remainder of the students weren't seriously hurt, China's official Xinhua news agency said Tuesday.

The school is located in Fengning, Hebei Province, 120 miles north of Beijing.

Police said Yin was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time. He said he was upset the men convicted of killing his daughter were not sentenced to death.
