ZARANJ, Afghanistan, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- A roadside bomb blast in Afghanistan's western Nimroz province killed at least seven people and injured one, officials said.
Gen. Abdul Rahim, provincial security chief, said two Afghan security forces personnel and five civilians were killed in the explosion Thursday in Zaranj city, Khaama Press reported.
A police officer was injured, officials said.
No one had claimed responsibility for the attack.
