TEL AVIV, Israel, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- An indictment was filed against a man suspected of involvement in a bus bombing in Tel Aviv, Israel, that injured 26 people, prosecutors said.

Muhammed Abed al-Jaffer Mafarja, 18, of Taibeh, Israel, was charged Wednesday in Tel Aviv District Court with counts including attempted murder, aiding the enemy in time of war and illegally transporting weapons in the Nov. 21 bombing, court documents said.

Three other suspects were also indicted Wednesday for plots to carry out suicide bombings and shooting attacks against Israeli political leaders and Israeli soldiers, The Jerusalem Post reported Wednesday.

Court papers said the ringleader, Ahmad Salah Ahmad Musa, 25, was responsible for acquiring intelligence on targets, building bombs and recruiting others to place the bombs, and is suspected of remotely detonating the Tel Aviv bus bomb.

Police said he admitted, during interrogation, to planning other attacks.
