ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- At least 10 people, including five security officers, were injured Tuesday when grenades were thrown at a military school in Risalpur, Pakistan, officials said.

Security officials said the attackers threw two grenades at a Pakistan Air Force Academy Engineering Center gate, Geo News reported.

Five security personnel and five civilians were injured, authorities said.

Geo News reported many men were at the site because the engineering unit was recruiting.

News Network International reported the attackers, riding motorbikes, tried to enter the facility but were repelled by armed guards. The attackers fled.

The academy has several units, including colleges of flight training, aeronautical engineering, flight instruction and military training.
