CALI, Colombia, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- At least 16 people died and 15 others were injured Monday when a bus crashed in Colombia, police said.

Officials said the bus driver apparently lost control of the vehicle as it rounded a curve while ferrying exhibitors to an artists' exhibit in Cali, Colombia Reports said.

Officials said 40 people were on board the vehicle.
