LONDON, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- The nurse who died in an apparent suicide after two Australian DJs made a prank call to her London hospital left a note criticizing colleagues, sources said.

Witnesses at Jacintha Saldanha's inquest said three notes were found after she was discovered unconscious in her quarters in staff housing, The Guardian reported. She apparently hanged herself with a scarf.

The newspaper said two sources said one of the notes discussed the prank call from radio personalities who pretended to be Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles and inquired about the condition of the Duchess of Cambridge, the former Kate Middleton, who was being treated at King Edward VII for a severe form of morning sickness. The third talked about conditions at the hospital and included unfavorable words about staff there.

Investigators with the Metropolitan Police are also examining email Saldanha sent and telephone calls she made.

Keith Vaz, a Labor member of Parliament acting as a representative for Saldanha's family, said he has written the hospital's chief executive, asking for transparency on what happened there.

The radio personalities, Michael Christian and Mel Greig, whose show has been taken off the air by the radio station 2DayFM, have received numerous death threats, The Australian reported.

The most recent was a letter telling Christian "there is a bullet out there with your name on it."
