Minibus-train crash kills four

TEBING TINGGI, Indonesia, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Four people were killed en route to a wedding reception when their minibus and a train collided in the town of Tebing Tinggi, Indonesia.

The vehicle, carrying eight people, was traversing an unmarked railroad crossing Friday when it was struck by the speeding train, about 80 kilometers (49 miles) southeast of Medan, North Sumatra, the Jakarta Globe reported.

The four survivors were severely injured and hospitalized, the report said.
