Armed men kill three in Pakistan

KARACHI, Pakistan, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Police in Pakistan said unidentified armed men were responsible for killing three people in Karachi Wednesday including a prayer leader and a bank guard.

Qari Hassan Naseer, 40, a prayer leader was fatally shot inside a mosque in the New Karach area by assailants who fled the scene before police arrived, Geo News reported.

In a separate incident armed men gunned down a security guard at a private bank near the Boat Basin Police Station. The guard was identified as Feroz Khan, 55.

The third victim, Naveed Bangish, 28, was shot to death in the Tariq Road area, police said. His assailants fled before authorities arrived.
