KONDUZ, Afghanistan, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Police in northern Afghanistan arrested two men who were allegedly involved in the beheading of a 14-year-old girl, officials said.

The girl's body was found Tuesday in Konduz province's Imam Sahib district, Radio Free Europe reported.

Local police officer Nizamuddin Hakimi said the suspects allegedly beheaded the girl after she and her parents rejected a marriage proposal from one of the men.
